Zoë Kravitz Admits to Accidentally Dosing Friends With Shrooms Four Times

Zoë Kravitz recently revealed a series of unusual and funny incidents involving friends and hallucinogenic treats in her refrigerator.

The actress shared the stories during Vanity Fair’s Lie Detector Test series while answering questions alongside her “Caught Stealing” co-star Austin Butler.

During the interview, Butler asked Kravitz if she had “accidentally taken hallucinogens” before. Kravitz responded with a twist, saying, “I’ve never accidentally taken hallucinogenics, but I have accidentally dosed several people.”

She explained that these incidents were never intentional and involved friends who “went into my fridge when I wasn’t home.” The actress added that it had happened “four times,” including one memorable occurrence while she was shooting “The Batman.”

“My friend came to visit me from Paris and went into my fridge when I wasn’t there and ate the chocolate mushrooms I had sitting there and called me, and I had to leave work and take care of her,” Kravitz recalled. She mentioned it happened again “a month later” with a different friend, noting that the experiences taught her to “label everything.”

Kravitz also reflected on the importance of respecting personal boundaries.

“But I also think you don’t go into people’s fridges and just eat, like, unmarked chocolate,” she said. “…Unless it’s, like, Hershey’s.”
