Quavo is making major moves in and out of the music world. His next big thing, an animated television series, focusing on hip-hop and the Atlanta culture.

As said in an article published by Variety, the series will be dedicated to kids eight to 12 years old and will feature relevant original music. With the Migos star as executive producer, his goals are to connect to kids in a positive light.

“I have long seen how hip-hop, as well as our music, really impacts kids,” Quavo said in a statement. “I’ve loved animation my whole life, whether on TV or in movies, and I wanted my first jump into this premium content world to be a show just for kids. It will definitely reflect the creativity, love, and families in and around the nawf side of Atlanta, where we grew up.”

The rapper will also be teaming up with Brian Grazer, Imagine Entertainment chairman, Sanjay Sharma, Marginal Mediaworks CEO, and founder, and Stephanie Sperber, Imagine Kids+Family president. Not only making this a major move for Quavo but for Quality Control as well, as it becomes the first stretch into film and television.

“What’s important and inspiring to me is that all kids will be seeing themselves in the faces and situations of these episodes,” Quality Control Music COO Kevin “Coach” Lee said in the article, adding, “These episodes will impact because they are educational and positive but with the dopest visuals and sounds our iconic rap culture can provide.”

As of yet, there is no set release date on the show, but there is for sure a project in the works.
