More information about Rachel Dolezal’s bizarre behavior is coming out. By now we all know that Dolezal attended Howard University on a scholarship for two years. It’s being alleged that she said sh was black on her college application. Today we find out that as a white woman, she filed a lawsuit against the HBU.

A new report from the Smoking Gun claims Rachel Dolezal sued Howard University in 2002. According to court documents obtained by the site, Dolezal, who went by Rachel Moore at the time, sued the historically black college by alleging discrimination “based on race, pregnancy, family responsibilities and gender.” From the report:
She alleged that Smith and other school officials improperly blocked her appointment to a teaching assistant post, rejected her application for a post-graduate instructorship, and denied her scholarship aid while she was a student.
The court opinion also noted that Dolezal claimed that the university’s decision to remove some of her artworks from a February 2001 student exhibition was “motivated by a discriminatory purpose to favor African-American students over” her.
A year and a half later, a judge dismissed the lawsuit because she had been discriminated against on the basis of race or any other forbidden factor.
According to TIME, on the matter of the instructorship, Judge Zoe Bush wrote that Dolezal “did not apply for any advertised faculty position; rather, she dropped off her resume and a cover letter with the Art Department following her graduation. The cover letter acknowledged her understanding that no teaching positions were then available … Contrary to Moore’s [Zoledal] argument, the fact that a part-time instructor was later hired to teach printmaking — a subject not included in Moore’s professed ‘area of focus’ — is not significantly probative evidence of discrimination.”
Oh, but there’s more: After the case was dismissed, Zoledal was ordered to reimburse Howard for a “Bill of Costs” totaling $2728.50. During the case, she was also ordered to pay the university nearly $1000 in connection with an “obstructive and vexatious” court filing that sought to improperly delay her examination by an independent doctor. Dolezal’s lawsuit, included “claims for medical and emotional distress damages.”
So let me get this straight, you sued an HBCU because you feel that you were discriminated against, despite the fact you most likely lied about your race to get in. THEN a few years later you decide to become and “fight for” the very same race you believed discriminated against you? So, are you for or against black people, ma’am?
