Atlanta rapper OG Maco is fighting for his life at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after an apparent suicide attempt early Thursday morning.

His manager, Poppa Perc, spoke to AllHipHop, revealing that OG Maco shot himself in the head and is currently on life support. Doctors are doing everything they can to save him.

If you remember OG Maco, it’s likely because of his breakout 2014 hit, “U Guessed It.”

Since then, his career has been marked by highs and lows, including a public battle with a rare, life threatening skin disease, necrotizing fasciitis, which he opened up about in 2019.

The disease drastically altered his appearance and required extensive treatment, something he said he had to face largely on his own.

Maco hasn’t posted on his Instagram since November 2, and fans are left hoping for a miracle as the rapper fights through this tough time.
