You may remember the photos of Coco Austin, wife of Ice-T, and rapper AP.9 together in Las Vegas that surfaced online in December 2012. At the time, Coco publicly apologized and said the photos were disrespectful to her husband, and Ice-T called the photos disrespectful as well.
Now AP.9 is telling his side. In an interview with Star Magazine, as relayed by HSK, he said he met Coco at a Las Vegas nightclub, that she invited him to her table, and that they exchanged numbers. He claims there was more to the night than the photos show.
AP.9 also disputed how Coco described him publicly. According to the rapper, Coco characterized him as a fan who kept showing up wherever she went, and he says that is not accurate. He told the magazine that Ice-T called him, and that he gave Ice-T his version of events. He added that he respects Ice-T and is not angry with Coco, but that he wants the story told accurately. In his words, “Everyone is looking at me like I’m the bad guy.”
These are AP.9’s claims only. Coco has not confirmed his account, and as of this writing we have not seen a new response from her or Ice-T. Baller Alert will update this story if they speak out.
