Ray J Alleges Childhood Sexual Abuse by Babysitter During Hide-and-Seek Game [Video]

Ray J is sharing more disturbing details about the abuse he endured as a child.

During a livestream over the weekend, the “One Wish” singer opened up again about being sexually assaulted by a female babysitter when he was just a boy. Ray J recounted how the incident happened during a seemingly innocent game of hide-and-seek, which he later realized was actually a more adult version called “hide-and-go-get-it.”

He described how, while moving from room to room, the babysitter eventually caught him and placed him in a headlock. That is when the woman revealed her bare breast and forced him into a sex act. Ray says his sister Brandy was in a nearby room, talking on the phone, unaware of what was taking place. 

The 44-year-old first shared his abuse during a livestream days ago, where several women appeared uncomfortable as he recounted the emotional story. He did not identify the perpetrator, but did reveal that she was in charge of watching him. It’s unclear how many times the woman assaulted him. 

Many fans came to his defense, sending well-wishes to the ex-reality star. Others side-eyed the revelation, even accusing Ray of making up the story for clout. In recent months, several other high-profile men have come forward about sexual assaults they endured in childhood. Rappers Ye, Ferg, and YG have all opened up about their traumas both in music and interviews.
