One-fourth of the group B2K, Raz B, was arrested earlier this week for domestic assault by strangulation, after allegedly choking his girlfriend outside of a Minneapolis Macy’s store. However, Raz won’t be charged due to lack of evidence to successfully prosecute him.
According to TMZ, police spoke to Raz’s girlfriend as well as witnesses and analyzed surveillance video from the scene and didn’t come up with sufficient evidence. Dispatch audio describing the alleged assault mentions a female being strangled by the ramp of a Macy’s store.
Raz B claims his girlfriend attacked him first and he was defending himself. The girlfriend allegedly told a family member about the altercation and then someone called police.
The singer has been released from jail and is expected to continue the rest of The Millenium Tour with his B2K group mates Omarion, J-Boog and Lil’ Fizz.
