Reginae Carter is open to reconnecting with YFN Lucci when he is released from jail, though not romantically.

She sat down alongside her mother Toya Johnson-Rushing for an interview with The Morning Hustle, where the subject of her ex-boyfriend came up. Lucci is reportedly being released this month after being incarcerated for four years. Johnson-Rushing made it clear that she does not want her daughter spinning the block with her former boo, though she does want the influencer to have happiness.
“But I do want her to find love and, you know, just somebody that’s going to treat her right, respect her, somebody she can build and grow with, and all of that good stuff. But spinning a block, I don’t know about spinning a block,” Johnson-Rushing stated.
Carter laughed off the notion but admitted she had no issue being friends with Lucci when he came home.
“Yeah, I’d be cool,” she stated. “I’m so happy for his kids, his family, all of that. It’s no bad blood or nothing, but spinning a block and being back together, that’s not going to happen.”
These days, Carter says she prefers to keep her relationships private due to the past publicly surrounding them. She dated Lucci on and off from 2018 until his arrest in 2021. In recent years, Carter was also dating Ar’mon Warren, though it’s unclear if they are still together.
Last year, Lucci was sentenced to 10 years in prison and 10 years of probation on gang-related charges. However, he was credited with time served and will complete his remaining sentence at home.
