Remy Ma just made it loud and clear that she’s done looking back. The Bronx rap queen shared an Instagram post alongside her new man, all smiles and peace signs, with a caption that read: “I’m happy… that’s my only emotion.” But that wasn’t all she had to say.

In a follow-up caption that reads more like a mic drop, Remy opened up about her past with estranged husband Papoose, and let’s just say she’s not sugarcoating anything.

According to Remy, Papoose has been sitting on old photos and videos for years, threatening to use them now that she’s moved on. But instead of folding, she stood tall. “He mad that I am actually smiling & laughing again,” she wrote, letting it be known she has no regrets.

She also called out what she sees as manipulative behavior during her prison sentence, claiming Papoose didn’t stay for their daughter like he claimed but rather stuck around in hopes she’d return. “You stayed the 6 years, 4 months, and 10 days I was away cuz I’m really who I say I am.”

Now, 11 years since coming home, Remy is embracing a new chapter. “I don’t owe anyone anything,” she added, reminding fans she was a great wife and just wants peace.

She even dropped a gem for other women stuck in relationships for the wrong reasons: “Stay because the person actually loves you… not because you’re scared to leave.”
