Rumors speculating that Kanye West is collaborating with the Skid Row Fashion Week on a fashion show featuring homeless people turn out to be false.

The rep also said the rapper currently does not have plans for a clothing line collab with the brand.

“Ye has a deep and solution-oriented commitment to addressing issues surrounding homelessness,” the spokesperson told Complex. “But this reported event is not on our schedule at this time, nor are we aware of any product collaboration in development.”

On Thursday, TMZ reported that the rapper planned to enlist homeless people to model clothing from his new “upcoming collaboration” with the Skid Row Fashion Week brand in an upcoming presentation.

The initiative would aim to provide jobs with the Skid row company for homeless people in Los Angeles, according to TMZ.

David Sabastian, the founder of Skid Row Fashion Week, told TMZ that the plan started when he and Ye met in January and agreed to work together on an upcoming clothing line.

The homeless-influenced clothing line was said to debut on February 22. According to the report, both men’s companies would also support the homeless population by donating proceeds from the fashion event.

The rapper is, however, gearing up to drop a sequel to his highly acclaimed 2021 anthology “Donda,” on February 22.
