Kim Zolciak and her husband, Atlanta Falcons linebacker Kroy Biermann, have welcomed twins. The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star announced the births on Instagram, sharing that she delivered a baby girl first, followed by a baby boy.
“Guess what?!!! The twins have arrived!” Zolciak wrote. “We welcomed first a baby girl and second a handsome little boy. They are both healthy and Kroy and I are so thankful!!”
The couple named their daughter Kaia Rose and their son Kane Ren, and Zolciak explained the meaning behind both middle names. Kaia’s middle name honors “Psychic” Rose, who Zolciak said has been like a grandmother to her for more than 13 years. Kane’s middle name is a tribute to her OB/GYN, who has delivered five of her six children.
The twins join big brothers Kroy Jr., 2, and Kash, 15 months, along with big sisters Brielle and Ariana, Zolciak’s daughters from previous relationships whom Biermann officially adopted earlier this year. Zolciak shared her pregnancy news over the summer and said the twins were conceived naturally, adding that twins run in her family.
