Gizelle Bryant, a star of The Real Housewives of Potomac, appears to be genuinely happy for her former husband, Pastor Jamal Bryant, who recently announced his engagement to Dr. Karrie Turner.
Over the weekend, she took to Instagram to offer her heartfelt congratulations to the newly engaged couple.
“Congratulations!,” she wrote in the comments of the post. “Very happy for you!”
Earlier this week, she appeared on FOX 5, expressing her sentiments about the engagement by stating that her primary concern is Jamal’s presence and support for their children.
“Super happy for him,” she said. “New Birth really needs a first lady. That’s important. And we need New Birth to be happy with Jamal because he has a lot of tuition to pay. All of my girls will be in college. So, all is well.”
When asked if she would be sending gifts for the newly engaged couple, “No, I’m not sending no gifts. I’m happy for anything that’s going to make him continue to thrive and be a great dad to my girls.”
In 2009, Gizelle and Jamal Bryant divorced, yet they remain connected through their three daughters: Grace, Angel, and Adore.
