Ric Flair is not battling cancer, and he wants everyone to stop saying otherwise.

Earlier this week, a fan sparked concern online after tweeting about the wrestling legend’s appearance, pointing out his frequent cuts and bruises.

“F*ck man, every time you see Flair he’s got these random gashes on his forehead or black eyes. He needs to calm down,” the post read.

That tweet quickly went viral after Flair’s son-in-law, Conrad Thompson, jumped in and replied, “He had a skin cancer removed but go on.”

The comment set off a wave of speculation, with fans and media jumping to conclusions that Flair was secretly battling a serious illness.

Flair didn’t waste time clearing it up.

I’m Sorry People Have Been Misled By Social Media, But I Don’t Have Cancer Of Any Kind. Thank You For Your Concerns And For Everyone Reaching Out. I Am Absolutely Fine, And Unfortunately, You’ll Have To Live And Put Up With Me For Another 25 Years!

He hopped on X to shut down rumors: “I’m Sorry People Have Been Misled By Social Media, But I Don’t Have Cancer Of Any Kind. Thank You For Your Concerns And For Everyone Reaching Out. I Am Absolutely Fine, And Unfortunately, You’ll Have To Live And Put Up With Me For Another 25 Years!”

While his statement was lighthearted, Flair’s had a rough history with his health. He was hospitalized in 2017 and again in 2019.

In 2022, during his final AEW match, he suffered a heart attack and later admitted he passed out twice in the ring.
