Boxing legend Roy Jones Jr found himself in the middle of a social media dispute at the end of May 2014. According to Hot 100.9, which cited Vlad TV, a female boxer who goes by StayLo posted private messages and photos of Jones on Instagram over the weekend.
StayLo claims she had an affair with Jones, who is married, and says she lashed out online after he declined to leave his wife for her. The report said she created a second Instagram page to share text messages she says he sent her. Both accounts were reportedly taken down afterward.
Everything in the report comes from StayLo’s claims and secondhand coverage, and none of it has been confirmed. Jones had not publicly responded in the initial reports, and we have not been able to verify the messages or photos that were shared.
