Royal Caribbean is on track to open a new beach club in 2025.

The cruise line received the green light from the Bahamas government and is expected to have its first Royal Beach Club at the western end of Paradise Island in Nassau. It will feature pools, private cabanas, live music, island-style barbecues, and more.

“The Bahamas has been a phenomenal partner since the very start when they became our first port of call more than 50 years ago,” Michael Bayley, the line’s president and CEO, said in a release. “As we continue to bring millions of visitors to experience attractions throughout Nassau each year, The Royal Beach Club at Paradise Island is the next bold adventure in Royal Caribbean’s commitment to both increasing tourism in The Bahamas and delivering memorable vacations to our guests.”

Royal and the Bahamas joined forces on the new project, allowing Bahamians to own as much as 49% equity in the beach club, and local entrepreneurs and businesses will be able to manage most of the experience, according to the release, USA Today reported.

More details on the club will be released in the coming months.
