We thought the coast was clear when we hadn’t heard any drama between these two in a while. Looks like we were wrong. The former Basketball Wives star is accusing her baby daddy of beating and abusing their 6-year-old son, according to reports.

“Howard’s baby mama Royce Reed went to Children’s Services in the Orlando, Florida, area in August and complained he had whipped their 6-year-old son Braylon with a belt, leaving bruises and abrasions on his leg.”
Reed was immediately sent to a nearby medical facility, where Braylon was evaluated and his injuries documented.
Authorities have since interviewed Howard, who confessed to the belting his son, but claims he didn’t know any better, because he too was disciplined in a similar fashion as a child.
As for his son’s injuries, Howard’s lawyer has filed legal documents claiming that he never caused marks, bruises, welts or injuries requiring medical treatment. Due to the severity of the claims made against him, Howard is now gunning for custody, claiming Reed is an unfit mother who drugs their son with psychotropic meds, just so she can have a “chemical babysitter.”
Howard’s rep tells TMZ, authorities found the allegations “frivolous,” adding, “It’s no coincidence that these false allegations were ‘leaked’ on the heels of Dwight filing for major custody of his son.”
“It is troubling to see a mother use her son as a pawn against his father,” and that Howard will do “whatever is necessary to protect [the child’s] welfare and best interests,” the rep added.
And while sources close to Howard claim CPS has since closed the case, determining the injuries documented were not caused by the belting, Reed says … Lies!
