I found this story very sad. I don’t know what’s going on with these two but regardless of personal matters, try to do what’s best for the child. According to NecoleBitchie.com Dwight Howard tells courts that Royce is making it increasingly hard for him to see his son so he is going to follow in Dwyane Wade’s footsteps and file for custody. Howard says that after he won his $500,000 judgement against her last year and froze all of her bank accounts after she violated a court order to not discuss him in the press, that Royce has made his life a living hell. Royce is asking for the judge to be removed from the case because she feel there is a bias, especially with Dwight’s celebrity.
This is my problem with the situation, is Royce a bad parent? Is she harming the child in any way? Why are parents using children as a vendetta against another parent? If this is about Royce not letting him see his son, what is taking their son away going to do? I’m hoping that he’s asking for joint custody, but I’m assuming that’s what he had in the first place, since he had visitation. Then again, what do I know? My baby daddy sucks at his job as it is. Guess it could be worse, Dwight Howard could be my baby daddy.
