Rudy Giuliani has officially “fully satisfied” the $148 million defamation judgment against him, according to court documents filed on Monday. The former New York mayor and Trump attorney had been ordered to pay the massive sum to two Georgia election workers, Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss, whom he falsely accused of election fraud following the 2020 presidential election.

The judgment was officially marked as “fully satisfied” on February 21, and a judge signed the satisfaction of judgment on Monday. While the exact terms of the settlement remain undisclosed, it allowed Giuliani to keep his Florida condominium and three World Series rings.

Freeman and Moss won their defamation case against Giuliani after proving that his baseless claims—accusing them of ballot tampering and voter fraud—led to relentless harassment and death threats. Giuliani was found liable in December 2023 and ordered to pay $148 million in damages.

Despite the judgment, the election workers have stated that Giuliani has continued to spread false accusations against them. As a result, a U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C., has permanently barred him from making any further claims suggesting they engaged in wrongdoing.
