A new report claims Kylie Jenner and Tyga have set a plan to elope. Radar Online, citing an unnamed insider, reported that the couple intends to marry in August, when Kylie turns 18. Neither Kylie nor Tyga had confirmed the claim at the time of the report, so for now this is a rumor.
According to Radar’s source, the pair also talked about leaving Los Angeles for a fresh start, with New York City or Europe mentioned as possibilities. The insider told the outlet that Kylie wants more independence from her family. Radar also pointed to a ring Kylie was photographed wearing on her left hand while leaving a Tyga performance in L.A., though a ring on its own confirms nothing.
Separately, Kylie spoke with InStyle UK about her finances after moving into a new home reported to be worth about $2.7 million. She told the magazine her mother, Kris Jenner, cut her off financially three years ago and that she now pays for her own car, gas, food and clothes.
Kris has been reported to see it differently. According to the Los Angeles Times, a source said Kylie was not cut off completely and simply had to cover the extras herself. “If they wanted extras, they had to buy extras,” the source said.
The bottom line is that the elopement plan comes from a single unconfirmed report, and the money story has two sides. August is not far off, so we will see what happens.
