Rush Limbaugh, conservative radio host, and political commentator, has deactivated his Twitter account in the wake of the violent MAGA chaos.

Twitter confirmed to USA TODAY that Limbaugh’s account was deactivated by him and not suspended like Donald Trump’s accounts and many of his high profile supporters, including former Gen. Mike Flynn and Trump lawyer Sidney Powell.

Trump has been permanently banned on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Reddit following his instigation of the violence that held the nation’s Capitol hostage on Wednesday.

Rush Limbaugh has been a staple in the conservative community for years, with his radio show being on air for more than three decades. Throughout Trump’s presidency, Limbaugh has been a loyal supporter and critic of anyone who goes against the semi-dictator.

The 69-year-old, who was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom last year by Trump, dismissed those who wanted peace following the deadly invasion.

“There’s a lot of people calling for the end of violence. There’s a lot of conservatives on social media who say that any violence or aggression at all is unacceptable regardless of the circumstances. I am glad Sam Adams, Thomas Paine, the actual Tea Party guys, the men at Lexington and Concord didn’t feel that way.”
