Scottie Pippen’s daughter Sierra was arrested early Sunday morning at a hotel in Iowa City, Iowa, according to police and news reports.
Police say the 20 year old entered the lobby of the Sheraton Iowa City Hotel around 1:30 a.m. and urinated on the floor. She was arrested on charges of public intoxication and public urination. An officer reported finding her near the hotel with bloodshot eyes, smelling of alcohol and with impaired speech and balance. Reports say hotel staff recognized her from an earlier incident at the same hotel this month, which means this was her second arrest on a public intoxication charge in April.
According to reports, Sierra declined a field sobriety test and a preliminary breath test, and she accused the officers of racism. She has reportedly pleaded not guilty. She was released around 10 a.m. Sunday after posting a $500 bond, and her first court date is set for May 28.
