Arizona police have arrested a second man in connection with the investigation into the death of rapper Mac Miller, according to NBC News.
The Lake Havasu City Police Department said Ryan, 36, was arrested Tuesday on fraud, drug and gun possession charges. Police said that during the investigation, officers found a doctor’s prescription pad, prescription only pills, drug paraphernalia and marijuana at his residence. They also reported seizing a 9 mm pistol, two shotguns, a handmade firearm suppressor and a large amount of ammunition. He is being held at the Mohave County jail on a $50,000 cash only bond.
Earlier this month, a 28 year old man named Cameron was also arrested. A criminal complaint accuses him of supplying Miller with counterfeit oxycodone pills that contained fentanyl. The Drug Enforcement Administration said authorities believe Miller, 26, died after taking the pills.
Miller was found dead on Sept. 7, 2018. His death was first reported as an accidental overdose, and the medical examiner later said he died from a mix of alcohol, cocaine and fentanyl. The charges against the men are allegations, and neither has been convicted.
