A Georgia prosecutor plans to look into a phone call between U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham and Georgia’s Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger as part of a criminal investigation surrounding Donald Trump’s violation of election laws.

According to Reuters, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis plans on looking into the call that Graham—a Republican–made ten days after the Nov. 3 election.

Graham is a friend of Trump and called Raffensperger to see if he had the authority to toss out all-mail ballots in certain Georgia counties, the Washington Post reported. A request that the Secretary said would be improper to do.

Kevin Bishop, a spokesman on Graham’s behalf, said the accusations against the senator are “ridiculous” and that Graham asked Raffensperger about the signature verification process. He also stated that the senator never asked Raffensperger to disqualify a ballot by anyone.

The spokesman added that Graham had not been contacted regarding any probe of the call.

Willis is investigating Trump’s Jan. 2 call to Raffensperger in which he pressured him to overturn the state’s election results.

On the recorded call, Trump can be heard saying, “All I want to do is this: I just want to find 11,780 votes, which is one more than we have.” Trump lost the state of Georgia to President Joe Biden. The state was considered one of a handful of swing states that cost Trump his re-election.
