Sheryl Underwood broke her silence after Sharon Osbourne’s sudden departure from “The Talk.”

Now Underwood is speaking out about her “traumatic experience” with Osbourne for the first time since she left. Sheryl breaks it down in a three-part series called “Sharon Walks Away” on her show “Sheryl Underwood Radio.”

In the show taped a week after Osbourne’s exit, Sheryl looks through her phone and explains that she had not heard from her former co-host since the day of the fallout. “No, OK, I’ve been looking through my phone,” she said. “No. I can go back as far as I can go. No,” she said.

But Sharon told the Daily Mail that she had reached out to Sheryl and even provided the news outlet with screenshots of her text messages.

Sharon told the Daily Mail, “I not only sent these messages to Sheryl, but I apologized to her in person in her dressing room.” Sharon asked incredulously, “Why are you saying I never apologized, Sheryl? What are you trying to do to me?… Why are you trying to destroy my reputation? Just be honest. Tell me,” Osbourne said.

Sheryl also revealed that she hasn’t heard from any of her other Talk cast-mates since the March 10th episode, as the show went into hiatus after the incident until April 12. “No, not personally.”

Underwood also shared that she has been surprised by how many people have reached out to her with similar experiences. “I was startled by those people and their stories of telling me, ‘This happened to me,'” she said. “I’m going to ask the people, ‘Can I name names?'”

Sheryl did admit that she “felt an odd feeling” about the “apology” that Osbourne tweeted, adding, “The issue is, for me, it’s about trust,” but Underwood seemed cautious about saying anything else. “I don’t want to add to the chatter in a negative way that we’re not coming with positive solutions and trust and growth and evolution,” she explained.
