Whether you choose to believe it or not, more and more Ballers are being exposed for “down low” behavior. While we may seem accepting as a society, some people still feel the need to hide who they really are. “Down low” is a slang term that refers to keeping something private. In this case we are referring to down low men, a closeted homosexual who often times hides this by still carrying relationships, often times sexual, with women. A down low man doesn’t have to look feminine or behave flamboyantly. Some of the most “hard” men have been exposed as down low brothas.
Here are a few signs of down low behavior:
*He is always with his homies. Out with him, texting, speaking low on the phone.
*Extremely homophobic – he hates gays to the point he is always talking about it.
*He is an abuser – if he abuses you for no reason (verbally and physically) he is crying for help. He really wants to come out of the closet.
*His b******* is super open but he doesn’t want you to touch it.
*He argues with his homies like they are a couple
*He gets jealous of his homies having girlfriends.
*Gossips about other people
*Hangs around NOTHING but women. No male friends whatsoever.
*The male friends he has are gay.
*Doesn’t seem to enjoy sex with you
*Your inner gaydar goes off
*He always argues with women. Hates everything about women
*Tries entirely TOO hard to prove his masculinity
*Has been caught with transsexuals (on social media or in person)
*You ask him “are you gay” and he responds “all them bitches I be fucking”
