Sinead O’Connor has responded on Facebook to the defamation lawsuit filed against her by Arsenio Hall.
Last week, O’Connor posted claims on Facebook alleging that Hall supplied Prince with drugs and that he once drugged her. Her posts suggested the DEA was looking into Hall. Hall responded by filing a $5 million defamation lawsuit against her.
On Friday, O’Connor posted again. She wrote that she was amused by the lawsuit and looks forward to watching Hall try to prove her wrong. She also said she was pleased the DEA was questioning people close to Prince about his history with drugs. Her post included a blunt personal insult aimed at Hall.
It is important to note what has and has not been reported. Law enforcement has been looking into Prince’s doctors and others over the possibility that he was prescribed Percocet. Hall’s name has not been connected to that investigation in any report, and O’Connor’s claims about him have not been confirmed.
