Cheetos is bringing back a beloved flavor that’s been missing for nearly two decades: Cheetos Puffs Cheese Pizza Flavor. The snack brand officially announced the return of the pizza-inspired puffs on Monday, January 13, just in time for Super Bowl 2025 celebrations.
According to parent company Frito-Lay, the revamped flavor delivers all the best elements of a classic cheese pizza. “Combining cheese, tomato flavor, and herbaceous notes of oregano and Italian seasoning, Cheetos Puffs Cheese Pizza Flavor gives fans a new way to enjoy this iconic dish,” the company said in a statement.
The puffs, which were first introduced in the early 2000s, were pulled from shelves in 2005. Now, after years of fan requests, the cheesy, pizza-flavored snack has returned to the Cheetos Puffs lineup—the first addition to the category in more than a decade.
“While we know nothing can compare to a fresh, hot pie, Cheetos is proud to bring fans the second-best pizza thing,” Frito-Lay added.
