Snickers has debuted its brand new seasoning blend, excellent for adding the candy bar taste to any snack.
B&G Foods has unveiled the Snickers Shakers Seasoning Blend, which combines chocolate, peanut, and caramel. The sweet spice pairs well with cookies, cakes, ice cream, pancakes, pretzels, yogurt, and milkshakes. Once sprinkled on any food, consumers can expect the meal to be immersed in the taste of the beloved candy bar. With this in mind, be careful of what you choose to use the Seasoning Blend on. Chocolate-flavored mac & cheese may not work out in your favor.
The Snickers Shakers Seasoning Blend marks the second candy seasoning in the collaboration between Mars and B&G foods. Last year, the Twix Shakers Seasoning Blend made its grocery shelves debut at Walmart, and Sam’s Club, among other retailers.
Jordan Greenberg, President of Spices & Seasonings and Executive Vice President of B&G Foods, is excited to present Snickers fans with a new way to enjoy the candy bar.
“With the introduction of Snickers Shakers Seasoning Blend, everyone can now shake the Snickers taste they love onto their favorite snacks and treats,” Greenberg said in a statement.
Senior brand director of Mars Wrigley, Michelle Deignan, said the concept stemmed from the company being “consumer obsessed” and noticing the trend of buyers wanting to add flavors from their favorite sweets to other foods.
Snickers Shakers Seasoning Blend has begun rolling out in stores nationwide.
