Snoop Dogg has applied for a trademark to use his name for a hot dog business.

The rapper will expand his commercial ventures with the soon-to-be-launched “Snoop Doggs” hot dog brand.

The announcement comes just over a year after Snoop launched his own gin brand, Indoggo gin, collaborating with Prestige Beverage Group and Trusted Spirits.

According to Billboard, “Snoop’s attorney Calvin Broadus filed a so-called intent-to-use application, meaning Snoop has not yet launched a brand, but that he has a serious intent to do so.”

The rapper being interested in a hot dog brand may come as a surprise to some if they can remember in 2016 when the rapper made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live and made some comments about the hot dog-making process.

“This is a hot dog!? Oh cuz, I ain’t never eating a motherfucking hot dog!” he said. “If that’s how they make hot dogs, I don’t want one. I’m good.”
