Longtime Diddy collaborator Dawn Richard is alleging that she wasn’t the only one to witness the mogul abuse ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura.
The former Danity Kane member set the internet on fire with her stunning lawsuit against the Bad Boy founder. Earlier this week, she sued her one-time friend for sexual assault and a slew of labor violations. She claimed that in addition to calling her and other women vile names, he also began violating her, touching her bare breasts and butt on several occasions. Additionally, he required her to work long hours without breaks and payment. Richard claimed to have witnessed the infamous “sex parties,” which included underage girls. However, more troubling aspects of her lawsuit documents surfaced on Thursday, and they state that singers Usher and Ne-Yo and Interscope Records CEO Jimmy Iovine were allegedly present during one of Diddy’s attacks on Ventura.
“On one such occasion, Combs hosted a dinner at a West Hollywood, California restaurant, which Ms. Richard and Ms. Harper were required to attend. Among the guests at the dinner were celebrities like NeYo and Usher, as well as Mr. Iovine. At the dinner, Mr. Combs and Ms. Ventura had an argument. In front of the dinner guests, Mr. Combs hissed at Ms. Ventura in a screaming whisper and forcefully punched her in the stomach, causing her to double over in visible pain, crying,” the court docs read.
Richard goes on to claim that the battered woman was escorted from the party as it continued on. These new revelations have sparked fierce online debates and calls for support for Richard and Ventura.
Diddy denies all allegations.
