How many of you guys remember (and miss) Soul Train? It’s okay, you don’t have to show your age by answering, but I’ll personally tell you that it was one of my favorite shows growing up and I always wanted to be one of the dancers.
According to sources, media mogul Nick Cannon has purchased the historic Soul Train brand for an undisclosed amount. We’re told that Nick is looking to revitalize the brand and bring some much needed music entertainment back to television.
There aren’t many details surrounding the deal but with Nick’s ties with Teen Nick, MTV and NBC I’m sure he would work out something amazing. Nick is definitely a Baller behind the scenes!
