News broke Friday that Dallas Cowboys rookie running back Ezekiel Elliott was accused by his ex girlfriend, Tiffany, of assaulting her. Tiffany posted photos of bruises to social media and alleged that Elliott hurt her while the two were in a car. Witnesses who were in the vehicle reportedly said no altercation took place. Elliott has not been charged with a crime.
Baller Alert reached out to Elliott’s team and received a statement from his attorney. The attorney said the claim against his client is false and that the photo is being used to portray Elliott as an abuser unfairly. He demanded that outlets stop using the image and take it down, and said the legal team is working to repair the damage the allegation has caused.
Sources close to the situation also gave Baller Alert a different account. According to those sources, Elliott and Tiffany broke up several weeks ago, and the bruising in the photos came from a separate physical altercation that did not involve Elliott. Baller Alert has not been able to independently confirm that version of events, and Tiffany’s side of that account was not available at the time of publishing.
The photos have reportedly been removed from Tiffany’s Instagram page. For now, this remains an allegation and a denial, and neither side’s account has been proven.
