South Park has never shied away from controversy, but its latest episode targeting conservative commentator Charlie Kirk is now at the center of a media shake-up.
The episode, titled “Got a Nut” from Season 27, featured Eric Cartman impersonating Kirk, poking fun at his political style and public persona. While the parody drew headlines, Comedy Central has quietly pulled the episode from its broadcast lineup following Kirk’s recent passing.
While cable TV isn’t airing it anymore, the episode is still streaming on Paramount+, where fans can watch without interruption.
Interestingly, Kirk himself didn’t seem bothered by the joke when he was alive. In fact, he publicly laughed it off, calling it “hilarious” and even described it as a badge of honor.
Comedy Central hasn’t said if the episode will return to reruns later, but as of now, the decision seems to only affect its cable TV schedule. Online, the show remains untouched.
