Southwest Airlines Passenger Who Masturbated On Flight Sent To Federal Prison For 48 Days

The Southwest Airlines passenger that masturbated during a flight will spend a little over a month behind bars for the repulsive act.

Antonio Sherrodd McGarity made headlines when he pleasured himself during an April 2nd flight from Washington to Arizona. The 34-year-old exposed his genitals and masturbated four times while the flight was in the air. The passenger seated next to McGarity notified a flight attendant and was moved to a different seat. She snapped photos of McGarity in the act and suspected him of ejaculating after witnessing him lick a white substance from his fingers. The flight attendant contacted Phoenix Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigations. When the flight landed, McGarity was taken into custody.

During an interview with authorities, McGarity said that he thought it was “kind of kinky” that he was able to jerk off while the woman next to him didn’t appear bothered during the deed. McGarity is no stranger to this type of behavior, having previously been charged locally and at the state level for lewd conduct.

Last week, McGarity pleaded guilty to a charge of indecent or obscene acts while on an aircraft. He was sentenced to 48 days in federal prison and one year of probation. He initially faced 90 days in prison. While on probation, McGarity is banned from flying commercially in the U.S. Southwest has banned him for life.
