Starbucks Is Selling $4 Protein Coffees That Pack 22 Grams in Every Bottle

Starbucks is stepping deeper into the functional beverage lane with its new Starbucks Coffee & Protein bottled drinks, set to hit grocery store shelves on March 23. The ready-to-drink options come in two flavors, Classic Caffé and Caffé Mocha, and will retail for $4 per bottle.

Each Starbucks Coffee & Protein drink contains 22 grams of protein, 5 grams of prebiotic fiber, and just 2 grams of sugar. That mix positions the beverages as both an energy boost and a macro-friendly option for shoppers who want more from their morning cup.

The bottled protein coffee rollout reflects the brand’s ongoing expansion in the ready-to-drink space. As more consumers look for high-protein coffee options that support busy schedules, Starbucks Coffee & Protein enters the chat with a familiar name and a nutrition label that competes with many shakes on the market.

This launch also builds on the company’s previous in-store protein beverages introduced last fall, including Protein Lattes and Protein Matchas made with Protein Boosted Milk. Now, instead of waiting in line, customers can grab Starbucks Coffee & Protein straight from the refrigerated aisle.
