Music icon Stevie Wonder has announced a new tour in light of his new tour, and fans are overjoyed.
On Thursday, the singer, in conjunction with promotions company AEG Presents and Free Lunch Agency, announced that Wonder would be hitting the road on his first tour since 2014’s “Songs in the Key of Life Tour.” This ten-city trek is named “Sing Your Song! As We Fix Our Nation’s Broken Heart,” which is the theme of his latest single, calling for unity and peace amid mounting political tensions.
With a career spanning six decades, Wonder’s iconic voice, musical genius, and social activism have touched generations. As he prepares to hit the road, fans hope to hear a mix of his cuts, showcasing the versatility that has made him one of the most well-respected artists ever. The tour kicks off on Tuesday, October 8th at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with stops in New York City, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Greensboro, Atlanta, Detroit, Milwaukee, and Minneapolis before the grand finale on Wednesday, October 30th at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
