Subway has confirmed that its legendary Sub Club has officially returned to restaurants nationwide after a 20 year hiatus.

For those who remember the original stamp cards of the 90s, this relaunch brings that same energy into the digital age, offering free meals and additional perks.

The rules for the new and improved Sub Club are simple: buy three, get the fourth for free. To participate, customers just need to sign up for the program through the Subway app or website.

Once you purchase any combination of three footlong subs or six 6-inch sandwiches, a credit for a free 12-inch sub will automatically appear in your account.

According to the company, the reward hits your profile within 24 hours of that final qualifying purchase.

While the free footlong is the main attraction, the program includes a few other sweet perks to keep fans coming back.

Members can still earn points on every purchase that convert into “Subway Cash” for future discounts, and the chain is keeping one of its most popular traditions alive, a free cookie for every member on their birthday.

This move comes at a time when many fast-food brands are making it harder to earn freebies, so Subway’s decision to offer a “fourth for free” deal is a major.

If you were an original MVP Rewards member, you don’t even have to lift a finger, Subway has automatically transitioned those accounts into the new Sub Club system.

Whether you’re a “Day One” fan or a newcomer, it’s officially time to start counting your sandwiches again.
