Summer Walker Says London On Da Track Didn’t “Produce Sh**” On “Still Over It”

Summer Walker and London

Summer Walker is slamming her ex-boyfriend and baby daddy London On Da Track for suggesting that he worked on her latest album.

On Tuesday, the Grammy-nominated producer reposted a fan Instagram post that read, “London on Da Track the first n***a in history to get paid off his own diss album.” His interesting take comes as listeners pointed out he was credited on ten records on Summer’s second album, “Still Over It.” London also posted a photo of himself with the caption, “Fair Exchange,” seemingly insinuating that his contribution was worth the backlash he received from Summer Walker fans since the record dropped.

However, the R&B songstress shut down any talks about her ex being the mastermind behind the album’s success. The 25-year-old commented on The Shade Room’s post about her album, maintaining that London didn’t “write sh**” nor “produce sh**.” Instead, she explained that he simply “handpicked” the producers he wanted to work on the project so that he could attach his name to the highly anticipated project. Summer did give him credit for adding a wind chime effect to one track that was already completed. She also acknowledged that he worked diligently on her last album, which did well, and called her arch-nemesis “super talented.” Still, she took the opportunity to highlight his track record of taking credit for things he doesn’t actually do, even slamming him for being an absentee father.

“Lol ima go back to minding my business, this just triggered the hell out me,” she concluded her rant.

Aside from her never-ending beef with London, Summer’s long-awaited ode to self-love and breakup recovery has scored a massive victory in a short amount of time. “Still Over It” is expected to move over 200K in its first week, likely heading to the number one spot on the Billboard 200 this week. The album was also Apple Music’s biggest debut for an R&B album and any album by a female artist.
