Giannis Antetokounmpo and Mariah Riddlesprigger have made it official!
In an exclusive chat with People this week, the Milwaukee Bucks superstar joyfully revealed that he and his longtime love tied the knot in Greece, his home country, with their closest family and friends present to witness the ceremony.
“We always talked about going back to Greece for our wedding. Most of my Bucks teammates, past and present, were there, along with my friends and business partners,” he added.
The couple shares three children, sons Maverick Shai, Liam Charles, and daughter Eva Brooke, who were present during the luxurious celebration. Antetokounmpo and Riddlesprigger are known for keeping their personal lives private. Therefore, their wedding day being kept mostly under wraps is no surprise. While few details have been shared, the NBA MVP couldn’t help but gush about how perfect the celebration was.
“We had the most incredible few days together. It was a beautiful celebration of our love, and now we’re one. I couldn’t be happier!” Antetokounmpo gleamed.
The pair, who have been together since 2014, shared several glimpses of their time in Greece leading up to the wedding, though none have been of the actual ceremony. Riddlesprigger posted one photo in all-white showing her wearing a veil that read, “Bride to be.”
