Rae Sremmurd rapper Swae Lee’s ex girlfriend, Marliesia, was arrested after a heated argument at his Los Angeles home in August, according to a report TMZ published on Monday, September 9, 2019.
According to TMZ, the former couple argued outside of Lee’s house. The outlet reported that Marliesia allegedly threw objects at Lee and, before security removed her from the property, reportedly headbutted him.
TMZ’s sources said Marliesia was the person who called the police. She reportedly told officers that Lee had sexually assaulted her. Those claims are allegations only, and no statement from Lee about them was included in the report.
The outlet reported that Marliesia changed her account when officers arrived. She reportedly admitted that she hit the rapper and broke a few items, and she also claimed that Lee strangled her. According to TMZ, neither of them had visible marks, and after officers assessed the situation they arrested her.
As of Monday, no charges had been reported as filed. TMZ reported that the Los Angeles City Attorney planned to hold a hearing with both sides about the incident.
