TI has been slapped with three misdemeanors in connection to his incident with a gated community security guard.
According to TMZ, the incident occurred back in May when the rapper attempted to gain entry into his own gated community. However, when the security guard refused over a technicality, the two got into a heated argument.
Eventually though, the rapper was granted access, but later returned to confront the guard, once again. That’s when the guard phoned officials, which prompted T.I.’s arrest.

Though sources tell TMZ the rapper will likely face no jail time, he has still been charged with simple assault, despite the fact that he did not make physical contact. He was also charged with public drunkenness and disorderly conduct, in the wake of the arrest, all of which his lawyer, Steve Sadow, believes to be “baseless, ill-founded and unjustified.”

As for the guard, who has been identified as Euwan James, Sadow says he “was fired for the way he handled the situation with T.I..”
