In the second installment of T.I. And Tiny’s controversial ”Red Table Talk” interview, the couple opened up about the turmoil they faced in their marriage. During the episode, Tiny explained how finding her voice caused a rift in their relationship after T.I. went to prison for a probation violation soon after they wed in 2010.
Tiny explained, after several attempts of her husband trying to interject, “If you recall, you could not move, you could not go anywhere, I was still in the house like I was on probation doing all the things. But because I had a voice that was not so timid — to me, this is my outlook on it — I feel like he felt like, ‘This is not the woman I left, and this is not what I want. I want someone that, if I tell her this, she’s gonna listen, and she’s gonna do this the way I want her to do it.’”
She then went on to seemingly confirm the rumors of infidelity that have plagued the couple for years. “He went and found him somebody that he could be like, ‘Hey, don’t move, do that,’ and then I was not her,” she continued. Tiny filed for divorce in March 2017. However, the Xscape singer revealed that T.I. found his way back, prompting her to call off the divorce and work through their issues with marriage counseling.
“He changed. He changed back,” She explained while addressing the rambunctious rapper. “You came back as if you really wanted to work things out and really wanted the relationship. Before… he was kind of like… the grass is greener over here, so that’s what I’m doing. Until I guess, you figured out it wasn’t.”
