Bowling Alley Where Takeoff Was Killed Suggests Him & His Affiliates Are Partly Responsible For His Death

The legal battle related to the untimely death of rapper Takeoff is moving forward amid confusion surrounding his estate and will, or lack thereof.

Back in June, Titania Davenport filed a $1 million wrongful death lawsuit against the venue where Takeoff was gunned down, alleging the establishment failed to provide adequate security.

The incident occurred in November 2022 at 810 Billiards & Bowling in Houston.

Now, the rapper’s dad, Kenneth Ball, has joined forces with Davenport in an attempt to recoup damages for the effects his son’s passing had on him. According to AllHipHop, Ball will be included in the lawsuit as an “intervenor,” which refers to a third party who joins an existing legal case.

“[Kenneth Ball], the natural parent of [Takeoff], has suffered substantial pecuniary loss both in the past and in the future,” Ball’s lawyer, Brant J. Stogner, said of his inclusion. “Indeed, [Ball] has suffered past and future pecuniary loss, including funeral and burial expenses, psychological and psychiatric expenses, loss of advice, loss of counsel, loss of service, loss of care, loss of maintenance, and loss of support.”

Ball also seeks at least $1 million from the Houston venue as a separate legal battle over the rapper’s $26 million estate continues.

The owners of 810 Billiards and Bowling have denied responsibility.
