Just a few weeks after word spread that Tameka Raymond might leave the cast of the upcoming reality show Atlanta Exes, she has reportedly changed her mind.
According to Straight From The A, Raymond had threatened to cut her time on the show short after DJ Tracey Steele, formerly of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta, had a run in with her at the first T Market event. The blog reports that Raymond reconsidered after producers reportedly agreed to remove signage tied to her Kile’s World Foundation, the organization she formed in honor of her late son, Kile Glover, from the footage.
The blog also reports that Steele will not be returning to Love and Hip Hop Atlanta and has reportedly deleted some social media posts about the situation. There is no word yet on whether Steele will appear on Atlanta Exes as a friend of Torrei Hart, comedian Kevin Hart’s former wife. Straight From The A reports that the tension between Hart and Raymond may be over now that the two have reportedly mended fences. Neither Raymond nor the show’s producers were quoted in the report.
In related news about Kile, there has been a development in the case tied to the 2012 jet ski accident that took his life. In the summer of 2012, Kile was riding in an inner tube on Lake Lanier, northeast of Atlanta, when it was struck by a jet ski. The jet ski was operated by Jeffrey Hubbard, who was convicted last month of homicide by vessel, reckless operation of a vessel, unlawful operation of a personal watercraft and a boat traffic violation. This week, Hubbard was sentenced to four years in prison.
