Tami Roman announced that she was 6 weeks pregnant a few weeks ago and since then everyone on social media has had an opinion on it. Whether it was due to her age or her decision to make the announcement so early, everyone has had something to say.
Yesterday Tami took to her Instagram page to announce that she made a mistake in sharing her pregnancy news and that she’s completely over the criticism. “I’ve read the comments and this is why I don’t know why I announced [my pregnancy] and why I don’t like taking pictures,” Tami wrote. “The negativity is overwhelming.” Tami did take the time out to thank those who have shared positivity. “Thanks to the people with positive energy. I’m dealing with A LOT emotionally/physically and the minute I decide not to hide and expose myself, I’m met with negativity, scandal rumors, and bad vibes. I wanted you to take this journey with me, but I see it’s best to keep to myself.”
If you’ve ever been pregnant, you know your hormones are on a roller coaster. I can only imagine what Tami is going through, having to deal with hormones coupled with rude comments and opinions from strangers. I see where Tami was coming from, wanting to share her happiness with her fan base, but quickly you see that people of social media can be cruel and vile creatures sometimes.
