It looks like the feud between Tamika and LaTocha Scott continues to plague the sisters.
During a recent episode of “Speak On It” with friend and Xscape group member Kandi Burruss, Tamika revealed that she was forced to get a temporary protective order against her sister and husband, Rocky Bivens.
“I did a temporary, TPO order on my sister and her husband because I was getting threats. I was getting text messages,” Tamika revealed to Burruss.
According to the singer, Bivens alluded to possibly hurting her when she accused the couple of stealing $30,000 in music royalties from her. The couple mostly denied the allegations during the mini-series “SWV & Xscape: The Queens of R&B,” though Tamika has never swayed from her story. Bivens eventually claimed that the royalty company was giving LaTocha money meant for Tamika because they had the sisters mixed up. Tamika also accused the couple of obtaining a sex tape of her and threatening to leak it.
During her chat with Burruss, Tamika also explained that her husband, Darnell Winston, has also been receiving threats from the couple. Unfortunately, Tamika says the order is the reason the R&B group can not come back together at this time. LaTocha made the decision the walk away from touring and performing with Xscape to pursue her solo endeavors. She released her project, “The Invitation: A Conversation With God,” on April 7th, selling just 678 copies.
Anyone expecting to see the four ladies of Xscape on stage together anytime can put those dreams to bed.
