A student in England has turned green!
Lilly Vigus,18, and her roommates were looking for some fun well-needed fun during the lockdown, and they thought nothing would be better than some self-pampering.
“We decided to just put some fake tan on. Apart from horses, fake tanning is the only thing I’m interested in.”
Without thinking twice, Lilly decided not only to use the entire bottle but also to sleep in the St. Moriz 1 Hour Fast Tan in the shade Darker than Dark.
When she woke up the following morning, she was, in fact, a shade of green.
Naturally a redhead, many people joked that she looked like “Fiona from Shrek.”
“Because I am ginger, my skin is very, very light.” Which is probably the reason she chose the shade darker than dark. “If I go out in the sun, I just burn instantly.”
“To get around this, I fake tan. I don’t normally use a tan this dark, but it was the only one left in the shop, so I decided to give it a go,” Vigus explained.
According to Daily Mail, Lilly did think her tan was getting to be “a bit dark,” but she decided to continue.
When she tried to wash the tanner off in the shower the next morning, the water just ran green.
The water continued to run green for days.
“I went to breakfast the next morning, and everyone just stopped and stared at me when they saw me.”
She said her roommates thought the entire ordeal was hilarious.
All in all, Lilly seemed to have a good sense of humor about it.
