A Texas home owned by NBA star Chris Bosh is at the center of a drug trafficking investigation, and his mother, Freida, has been named a suspect, according to TMZ.
TMZ reported that authorities raided the DeSoto, Texas home early Friday morning. Officials reportedly found what TMZ described as a large amount of drug paraphernalia, along with iron gates and security cameras that investigators called consistent with narcotics trafficking.
In the days before the raid, undercover officers reportedly collected several garbage bags left outside the property. According to TMZ, investigators say the trash contained baggies with cocaine residue, marijuana paraphernalia and mail addressed to Freida.
Bosh owns the house, but officials told TMZ he is not connected to the investigation in any other way. TMZ also reported that it is unclear how Freida became involved, though she is said to be a resident of the home and remains a suspect at this point. No arrests had been made at the time of the report, and no charges had been announced.
