A text message from Sean Hannity allegedly showed he was concerned about the 48 hours before the Jan. 6 attacks.

In a text message from days prior to the U.S. Capitol riots, Hannity said he was “very worried about the next 48 hours,” Newsweek reports.

Hannity reportedly sent the text to former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows. The text was included in a letter the House Select Committee – which is investigating the U.S. Capitol attacks – sent to Hannity as part of a request for him to come forward with any information he has about the incident, Axios reports.

The House Select Committee has been sending requests to several people who may be associated with Trump, his administration or his ideals. The committee sent requests to former Vice President Mike Pence, radio host Alex Jones and more in hopes of gaining more information about the attack. The letter to Hannity noted that the committee knew Hannity had “advance knowledge regarding President Trump’s and his legal team’s planning for January 6.”

“It also appears that you [Hannity] were expressing concerns and providing advice to the President and certain White House staff regarding the planning,” the letter reads. “You also had relevant communications while the riot was underway, and in the days thereafter.”

Some of the texts from Hannity were connected to Trump’s attempts to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election. The committee also seems to believe Hannity chatted with Trump the night before Jan. 6. However, Newsweek reports Hannity did not make any statements relating Trump to Jan. 6.

The Committee is seeking information from Sean Hannity.
