She meant well but when Lindsay Lohan attempted to be inspirational on the Gram, she may have made an “ass” out of herself. Get it? Ass… No? Ok, moving on.
Lindsay Lohan posted a meme to her page. The meme featured something written in Arabic and under it, the words “You’re Beautiful.” The only problem is, the words written in Arabic do not translate to “You’re Beautiful” at all. In fact, it really says “You’re a donkey!” The internet plays all day!
Lindsay deleted the meme once commenters hilariously made her aware of the flub. This reminds me of back in the 90’s when everyone was getting Chinese letters tattood on them and not really knowing what they meant. Here you are thinking you got “Peace, Love & Light” tattooed on you and you really have a tramp stamp that reads “Orange Chicken & Fried Rice.” I have a tattoo in Arabic but before permanently inking my body, I asked my friends who speak and read the language to confirm what I was getting was true. This is why it’s always a great idea to have friends from various ethnic and religious backgrounds. Or at least have a good Google finger. Poor Lindsay!
